Hygienic profile (specifically known as "hygienic coving profile" or "hygienic skirting" in cold rooms and food facilities) is a curved construction element with

rounded corners designed to prevent dust and bacteria accumulation. Its biggest difference from the classic L-shaped internal corner flashing is that its

corners are oval (radiused) rather than 90-degree sharp angles.

What are the Features of Hygienic Profile?

Anti-Bacterial and Anti-Mold: Thanks to its oval structure, it prevents water and dirt from holding onto corners, preventing the formation of bacteria, fungi, and mold.
Easy Cleaning (Washability): Since the corners are not sharp, mops, pressurized water, or cleaning robots can clean corners perfectly without leaving blind spots.
Hidden Screwing System: It generally consists of two parts. First, the rear carrier track (PVC or aluminum) is screwed to the wall, then the front oval cover is snapped onto it, completely hiding the screws.
Flexible and Soft Edges: The soft TPE/PVC gaskets on the lower and upper edges of the profile fit perfectly into uneven surfaces on floors and walls, providing liquid tightness.
